These roles support the development of advanced and novel materials, manufacturing, and analytical/experimental technologies to enable the development and improvement of new and legacy armaments systems. This position is located at Picatinny Arsenal.\nWhat will you be doing?\nThese positions will be key members of the Division in the appropriate supporting Branches. Duties include:\nAnalysis & Experimental EvaluationDynamic Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of Munition and Armament Systems\nMechanical Design of Experimental / Prototype Systems\nComputational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)\nTest & Evaluation of Munition and Armament System\nComputer vision analysis / Digital Image Correlation\n\nMaterials & ProducibilityAdvanced Manufacturing\n3-D Printing (metal & plastic)\nPrinted electronics\nMaterials analysis\nNovel & nano materials\nProducibility and industrial base assessments\n\nManufacturing & Prototype TechnologyConventional Manufacturing\nRobotic programming and integration\nWelding and joining\nTool & die\n5-axis machining\n\nWhat skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?\nThese positions will require the following skillsets and experience:\nMust be able to obtain a clearance through the DoD security background investigation process\n\nPass drug and alcohol testing\n\nMust have good mechanical skills and experience\n\nKnowledge of manufacturing principles and processes\n\nExperience with engineering software, including Creo CAD\n\nKnowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)\n\nHigh standard of quality and efficiency\n\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills\n\nKnowledge of weapons and firearms a plus\n\nMust be a team player, able to multitask and prioritize accordingly\n\nFluent in (MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\n\nMust be a US Citizen\n\nMust have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a government driver’s license\n\nMust have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar discipline\n\nPast or present military personal are encouraged to apply\n\n0-5 years of experience with engineering or similar discipline\n\nRead about our benefits here: Our Benefits - UTRS | Thinking Forward\nUTRS is an Equal Opportunity employer.
