The Senior Analyst will provide technical and analytical support for database integration, data migration, data quality, workflow automation, reporting, and modernization activities.\nThe position will work closely with the project’s Senior Consultant/SME and Program Manager to maintain and enhance existing data-management processes while supporting migration and integration of program information across current and future platforms.\nThe ideal candidate has significant experience working with enterprise data, relational databases, system integrations, data migration, requirements analysis, data governance, workflow automation, and business intelligence/reporting solutions.\nThis position is Remote.\nWhat will you be doing?\nThis position will be a key member of the FTA team. Duties include:\nSupport the Senior Consultant/SME with database integration, data migration, system modernization, and technical implementation\nAnalyze existing databases, datasets, business processes, and workflows to identify integration requirements, dependencies, data gaps, and opportunities for improvement.\nSupport the migration, mapping, transformation, reconciliation, and validation of data between legacy and modernized systems.\nDevelop and maintain data mappings, data dictionaries, field definitions, database documentation, process documentation, and system requirements.\nPerform data-quality reviews and reconciliation activities to identify duplicate, incomplete, inconsistent, or inaccurate information.\nSupport relational database development and maintenance, including Microsoft Access and other enterprise data platforms.\nDevelop and support automated workflows and business processes using tools such as Power Automate or comparable automation technologies.\nSupport development of dashboards, reports, queries, metrics, and analytical products using Power BI, SQL, Excel, and related tools.\nGather business and program requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical, database, integration, and reporting requirements.\nConduct testing and validation of database changes, data migrations, integrations, automated workflows, and reporting solutions.\nTroubleshoot data, database, integration, and workflow issues and coordinate resolution with technical and program stakeholders.\nSupport data governance, access controls, data integrity, auditability, and documentation requirements.\nIdentify opportunities to automate repetitive processes and improve the efficiency and reliability of program operations.\nPrepare technical documentation, status information, briefings, recommendations, and implementation materials for project and Government stakeholders.\nCoordinate with FTA personnel, project leadership, analysts, and technical resources to support program objectives.\nProvide additional technical and analytical support for FTA transportation-safety programs as required.\nWhat skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?\nThis position will require the following skillsets and experience:\nBachelor’s degree plus7 years of relevant professional experience, or Master’s degree plus 5 years of relevant professional experience or Education/experience equivalency\nSignificant professional experience with database integration, data migration, data management, data governance, or enterprise systems.\nDemonstrated experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical or data requirements.\nExperience with relational databases, data mapping, data validation, reconciliation, and data-quality management.\nExperience documenting databases, systems, workflows, technical requirements, and business processes.\nExperience supporting enterprise system implementations, integrations, migrations, or modernization efforts.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder-communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.\nMust successfully complete required FTA/DOT suitability requirements before beginning work on the FTA project.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Microsoft Access, SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Dataverse, or comparable platforms.\nExperience developing automated workflows, dashboards, reporting solutions, or business-intelligence products.\nExperience with cloud migrations, enterprise platform integrations, or legacy-system modernization.\nExperience working with Federal Government programs or regulated environments.\nExperience with data governance, auditability, regulatory reporting, or compliance-related data.\nExperience supporting transportation, transit, aviation, or safety-management programs.\nPMP, Six Sigma, Agile/Scrum, data analytics, or related professional certifications are desirable.\n\nRead about our benefits here: Our Benefits - UTRS |Always, Got Your Back\nUTRS is an Equal Opportunity employer.
