The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting our range of high-quality screeding and flooring solutions.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in construction sales, flooring, building materials, or technical specification sales who enjoys building long-term customer partnerships.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage and develop relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of service and customer satisfaction. \nIdentify and secure new business opportunities within the screeding and flooring sector. \nVisit contractors, distributors, merchants, architects, specifiers, and flooring installers across the assigned territory. \nPromote the company's screeding and flooring product range and provide technical guidance where required. \nPrepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales opportunities. \nDeliver sales presentations and product demonstrations. \nWork closely with internal teams including Customer Service, Technical Support, Operations, and Logistics to ensure seamless project delivery. \nMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities. \nMaintain accurate customer records and sales pipeline using the CRM system. \nAchieve agreed sales targets, KPIs, and business objectives. \nRepresent the company at industry exhibitions, trade events, and customer meetings. \nRequirements\nEssential\nPrevious experience in a sales or account management role within construction, building materials, flooring, or screeding. \nProven ability to develop customer relationships and grow sales. \nExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. \nStrong commercial awareness. \nSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently. \nFull UK driving licence. \nProficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. \nDesirable\nKnowledge of screeding systems, flooring products, insulation, adhesives, or related construction products. \nExperience selling into contractors, merchants, distributors, or specification markets. \nTechnical understanding of flooring applications
