value.\nLocation: Kings Norton, Birmingham\nAbout the Role\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially driven Branch Manager to join our growing team at U Value Insulation Group.\nWe are looking for a motivated and results-focused individual to take full responsibility for the day-to-day management, operational performance and continued growth of our branch.\nThe successful candidate will be a strong leader with excellent commercial awareness, a customer-focused approach and a proven track record in sales and branch management, ideally within the building materials distribution or construction supply industry.\nKey Responsibilities:\nBranch Management & Operations\nTake full responsibility for the overall performance, profitability and smooth running of the branch.\nManage daily branch operations, ensuring high standards of efficiency, customer service and operational excellence.\nOversee stock management, inventory control and branch logistics to ensure product availability and minimise stock losses.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations and operational procedures.\nSales & Commercial Performance\nDrive sales growth and profitability, ensuring branch targets and KPIs are consistently achieved.\nIdentify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow the branch's customer base and market share.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, suppliers and key stakeholders.\nMonitor sales performance, margins and costs to maximise branch profitability.\nWork closely with the wider sales and management teams to deliver business objectives.\nPeople Management & Leadership\nLead, motivate and develop the branch team to create a positive, high-performing working environment.\nSet clear objectives, monitor performance and provide ongoing coaching and support.\nPromote a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.\nSupport recruitment, onboarding, training and development of branch employees.\nCustomer Service\nEnsure the branch consistently delivers exceptional customer service.\nBuild long-term relationships with trade customers, contractors and key accounts.\nResolve customer queries and issues professionally and efficiently.\nMaintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements.\nRequirements\nWhat We're Looking For\nPrevious experience in a Branch Manager, Assistant Branch Manager or similar management role.\nExperience within the building materials, insulation, construction products or distribution industry is highly desirable.\nStrong commercial acumen with a proven ability to drive sales and profitability.\nExcellent leadership, people management and team development skills.\nStrong organisational, planning and problem-solving abilities.\nExperience managing budgets, stock levels and operational KPIs.\nA proactive, hands-on approach
