In this role, you will interact directly with contractors to establish your own customer base and contribute to the company’s sales expansion.\nKey duties and responsibilities:\nBuild new sales opportunities with main contractors in-person, with follow-up quotations, calls and emails to generate new sales.\nProspect new business through company background research and other pertinent lead information.\nIdentify customer's buying trends and provide reports to management.\nEnter, update, and maintain CRM information on leads, prospects, and opportunities.\nGrow new business by engaging with decision making stakeholders within the construction industry.\nBuild a strong network of industry & sector partners, to support business growth and retention.\nAchieve sales KPI's and targets.\nWork collaboratively as part of the wider sales teams, customer operations and logistics.\nParticipate in sales meetings to communicate pipeline and progress on sales opportunities.\nRequirements\nExtensive experience in an external sales role, ideally in the construction industry but not essential.\nAdaptable, self-driven & team oriented.\nStrong negotiation skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment, within a high growth business.\nAbility to demonstrate confidence, resilient and target focus in a tough but rewarding industry.\nIdentify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business.\nSupport existing
