The focus of the role will be to evaluate the effectiveness, configuration, and integration of enterprise and AWS-native security tools.\nWhat You'll Do:\nAssess enterprise security tools such as:\n\nSIEM platforms\n\nIDS/IPS solutions\n\nVulnerability management systems\n\nEvaluate AWS-native security services including:\n\nAWS GuardDuty\n\nAWS Macie\n\nAWS Inspector\n\nConduct configuration reviews against:\n\nCIS Benchmarks\n\nAWS Well-Architected Framework\n\nReview logging and monitoring configurations to ensure adequate coverage and visibility\n\nSupport or perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to validate tool effectiveness\n\nAnalyze tool integration and data flow between systems\n\nIdentify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for optimization\n\nProvide recommendations to improve tooling effectiveness and coverage\n\nWhat You've Done:\n 7+ years hands-on experience with security tools and AWS security services\nExperience with AWS security services and cloud security tooling\n\nExperience performing tool assessments, audits, or implementations\n\nCore Certifications:\nAWS Certified Cloud Practitioner\n\nCompTIA Security+ (baseline, if needed)\n\nTool/Platform & Cloud:\nAWS Certified Security -
