This position will serve as the company’s senior accounting leader, owning the integrity of the general ledger, financial reporting, and compliance with US GAAP. The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in complex environments, has strong technical accounting judgment, and takes pride in building scalable, audit-ready accounting processes.\nA day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:\nLead and own the company’s accounting function, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP\nOwn the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including review and approval of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements\nServe as the primary owner of the general ledger and balance sheet integrity\nOversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting\nManage cash reconciliations and support cash management and treasury activities\nManage all external audit activities, including audit planning, technical accounting memos, audit schedules, and direct communication with auditors\nOversee complex accounting areas including:\nInventory and cost accounting\nFixed assets and capitalization policies\n Contract Manufacturer (CM) liabilities\n Cost of revenue (COR), manufacturing variances, and accruals\n Revenue recognition (ASC 606)\n Lease accounting (ASC 842)\nIntercompany accounting and reporting to the parent company and affiliates\nReview and approve inventory valuations, reconciliations, and rollforwards between sub-ledgers, ERP systems, and the GL\nEnsure accurate accounting for fixed asset additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation\nDevelop, document, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls\nEnsure ongoing audit readiness and compliance with internal and external reporting requirements\nOversee tax compliance, including sales/use tax, income tax filings, and 1099 reporting, in coordination with external advisors\nPrepare and review key accounting schedules and analyses, including balance sheet reconciliations, inventory aging, cost variance analysis, and COR detail\nPartner with FP&A and leadership to support financial statement analysis and reporting needs\nMentor and develop members of the accounting team, establishing clear standards and accountability\n Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes, close efficiency, and system usage (NetSuite)\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance\n7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including ownership of month-end close\nStrong technical accounting knowledge and experience applying US GAAP in complex areas\nDemonstrated experience managing external audits and preparing technical accounting documentation\nAdvanced experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems\nProven ability to manage and develop accounting staff\nHands on and highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scaling environment\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in explaining accounting matters to non-accounting stakeholders\nIdeally, we're looking for:\nCPA license, or active progress toward obtaining one\nExperience with multi-entity or international accounting, including intercompany transactions\nPrior experience in manufacturing, hardware, or inventory-heavy environments\nBenefits we offer:\nCompetitive Medical, Dental, Vision.\nCompany 401k Match.\n20 PTO days, Company paid holidays.\nCareer growth as we scale across the US.\n\nCheck out ourLife at UVeyepage to learn more about the employee experience.\nUVeye is an equal opportunity employer. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, skills, location, education, and operational needs. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentives or other forms of compensation or benefits.
