Together.\nThis role is in Hematology.\nJob Summary:\nThe Supervisor is an integral member of the management team who assists the manager in fulfilling one or more Laboratory division’s responsibilities and overseeing daily operations. Expectations include personnel management, orientation, goal setting, scheduling, compliance with accreditation agencies which includes; the College of American Pathologists, Food and Drug Administration, Association for the Advancement of Blood and Biotherapies, New York State, Joint Commission, Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the Environmental Protection Agency, budget input, succession planning, teaching, communication, policies and procedure management, cost management, staff development and outstanding customer service skills. Responsibilities may also include laboratory test maintenance and management in addition to Laboratory computer information systems maintenance.
