In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and actively contributing to the software development of our UV-C disinfection devices. You will primarily work with C++ on STM32 chips using Zephyr. You will work closely with our external hardware and software development team to make our devices work perfectly.\nCritical Results\nStandardizing the software flow for UV Smart products.\n\nEmbedded software development for the entire product portfolio in collaboration with our external electronics and software developer.\n\nExpanding functionalities and connections in future developments.\n\nResponsibilities\nDevelopment and Implementation (50%);\nDesigning, developing, and implementing embedded software for medical equipment.\n\nOverseeing projects, planning and prioritizing tasks, and ensuring timely delivery of software components.\n\nTesting and Debugging (25%);\nTesting the software for quality assurance, identifying and resolving bugs and issues.\n\nMaintaining accurate and detailed technical documentation for software design and specifications.\n\nRegularly reviewing code and maintaining existing software to improve performance and reliability.\n\nCollaborating with External Teams (25%);\nWorking closely with external hardware and software developers to ensure coherent and efficient development.\n\nRegularly communicating with management and other team members about progress, challenges, and achieved results.\n\nInvolved in\nImproving the workflows of the devices;\n\nOn-site validation and user testing;\n\nKnowledge development regarding industry-specific software development requirements;\n\nExpansion and linkage to application software.\n\nRequirements\nSkills & Personality\nTimely, pragmatic, result-oriented, and goal-driven;\n\nWillingness to learn and open to feedback;\n\nNot afraid to do things outside your comfort zone;\n\nReliable and energetic personality that delivers what is promised.\n\nKnowledge & Experience\n≥3 years of experience in embedded software programming in C++;\n\nExperience with RTOS systems;\n\nKnowledge of microcontrollers and electronics;\n\nStrong organizational and task-oriented, timely driven;\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English.\n\nSo what does UV Smart offer you?\nAn exciting role, within a growing company, plus:\nA one-year contract, with the intention to extend (as this is a permanent position).\n\nA gross monthly salary between EUR 4.000 - 6.000, based on your experience.\n\nHoliday pay (8% off the gross salary).\n\nAttractive pension plan: 100% contribution by UV Smart (12% of your yearly salary).\n\n25 vacation days each calendar year.\n\nCompany laptop and phone.\n\nAn individual training budget of EUR 1,000 yearly.\n\nDaily lunch at the office, a fun and ambitious team, activities.\n\nTravel allowance (based on actual costs / kms).\n\nPlease note that this offer is based on full-time (40 hours) employment.\nRecruitment Process\nAfter reviewing your CV we will call you with some questions, based on this conversation we may invite you for an interview in the office with 2 UV Smart colleagues.\n\nIs the positive feeling mutual?
