Our business spans multiple areas, including Public Sector Consulting, Enterprise Solutions, Professional Services, Ecommerce, Projects, and Products.\nWe serve key industries including Healthcare, Public Sector, Insurance, Transportation, Education, and Legal.\nOur Public Sector Consulting practice focuses on helping organizations navigate the U.S. government contracting landscape, build strategic partnerships, and deliver technology and staffing solutions that maximize client value.\nWe are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager / Executive to join our Public Sector Consulting team and drive growth across SLED (State, Local & Education) and Federal markets.\n\n Key Responsibilities\nSLED – Account Management\nManage assigned state, local, and education contracts, including compliance, rates, renewals, and growth plans.\nIdentify and develop qualified opportunities to expand existing accounts.\nEnsure all contract and compliance activities are completed accurately and on time.\nSLED – Staffing & Delivery\nWork closely with recruiting teams to prioritize and fulfill client requirements.\nEnsure compliant candidate submissions within defined SLAs.\nMaintain strong submission-to-requirement ratios and drive opportunities through successful starts.\nMonitor delivery performance and resolve review/action items promptly.\nFederal – Business Development & Capture\nBuild and manage pipelines across federal agencies, prime contractors, contract vehicles, forecasts, and task orders.\nIdentify and qualify new federal opportunities and partnerships.\nMaintain an active pipeline of qualified pursuits and continuously improve opportunity conversion.\nFederal – Compliance & Proposals\nCoordinate registrations, representations, NDAs, teaming agreements, SOWs, task orders, and proposal inputs.\nPartner with internal teams to ensure submissions are accurate, compliant, and delivered within deadlines.\nStakeholder Engagement\nDevelop strong relationships with contracting officers, program stakeholders, small-business offices, primes, and strategic partners.\nConduct targeted outreach and maintain consistent follow-up with documented next steps.\nRepresent V Group at relevant customer meetings, government events, and industry conferences.\nPerformance & Reporting\nMaintain accurate CRM data, dashboards, pipeline reports, and account plans.\nTrack KPIs and proactively implement corrective actions.\nIdentify opportunities to improve business development and delivery processes.\n What We're Looking For\n5+ years of experience in U.S. IT staffing, consulting business development, account management, or client services.\n2+ years of experience supporting U.S. public-sector customers preferred.\nStrong understanding of SLED procurement, compliance, staffing, rate structures, contract management, and account growth.\nWorking knowledge of Federal acquisition, contract vehicles, task orders, registrations, teaming, and proposal processes.\nExperience managing staffing requirements from intake through candidate submission and placement.\nStrong communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and account-planning skills.\nAbility to manage multiple clients, partners, opportunities, and priorities simultaneously.\nProficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.\nStrong analytical and reporting skills with attention to pipeline and CRM data accuracy.\nSelf-motivated, organized, and comfortable working U.S. Eastern Time hours.\nWillingness to travel up to 10% for customer meetings, government events, and conferences with reasonable notice.\nU.S. visa holders preferred.\n\n Perks & Benefits\nExposure to U.S. work culture\nOpportunity for U.S. visits\nHealth & Accident Insurance\nPaid Leave & Sick Leave\nCab & Meal Facilities for office-based employees\nEducation Sponsorship\nGym Membership\nEPF & Gratuity\nStructured Career Growth & Development\n\nWhy Join V Group\nAt V Group, you'll work with a multinational team and gain hands-on exposure to the U.S. Public Sector technology and consulting ecosystem.
