Projects span video and image workflows-from streaming and broadcast to immersive/VR applications-alongside cloud, GPU and emerging AI technologies. You’ll contribute to customer discussions, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and hands-on testing. Extended evaluations give you time to build technical knowledge and ongoing customer relationships.This is a customer-facing technical role supporting the sales process, rather than a software development role. You’ll learn through practical work, with mentoring and increasing responsibility as your skills and confidence grow.\nResponsibilities\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nJoin customer discussions to understand their needs and evaluation goals.\nHelp shape practical solutions and integration approaches with experienced Solutions Engineers.\nHelp prepare demonstrations and build confidence presenting to customers.\nSupport PoCs and technical trials; record results and help explain the findings.\nSupport system configuration, integration and troubleshooting, with guidance from experienced colleagues.\nShare customer feedback and technical findings with engineering and product teams.\nBuild your knowledge across our varied technologies and customer workflows.\nOwn agreed tasks and customer follow-ups, and share what you learn.\nWhat You’ll Gain\nExposure to projects with major organisations and technology partners, working alongside experienced Solutions Engineers.\nMentoring, structured learning and opportunities to practise customer discussions, demonstrations and presentations.\nPractical technical skills and an understanding of how solutions meet customer needs.\nExperience collaborating with engineering, product and commercial teams.\nSupport to grow into a more independent Solutions Engineer, with responsibility increasing as you develop your skills, confidence and readiness to lead customer discussions and technical evaluations.\nQualifications\nAbout You You’re interested in a customer-facing technical career and enjoy explaining technology as well as working with it. You’re curious, willing to learn and keen to help customers solve practical problems.You’ll likely have:\nIdeally, you’ll bring around 1-3 years of relevant experience in technical support or another technical role, such as integration, systems engineering or solutions engineering. We also welcome candidates who demonstrate practical technical ability through placements, academic or personal projects, alongside strong communication skills and a willingness to learn. Previous pre-sales experience is not essential.\nClear communication: you can explain technical ideas, listen carefully and ask useful questions. Customer or partner experience is welcome, but enthusiasm and aptitude matter.\nA practical technical foundation, with exposure to areas such as video or imaging, cloud, GPUs, XR, AI/ML, networking or SaaS.
