Oversee the automotive workers and assist the workers in repairs of damaged bodies and body parts of vehicles.\nResponsibilities\nOverseeing the daily operations of the auto body shop\nManaging customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction\nInform Transportation Manager of parts and supplies that may need to be ordered and maintain inventory control.\nEnsuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining up-to-date knowledge on the latest automotive repair procedures and technologies\nResolving any issues or conflicts that arise in the shop\nInspecting completed work for quality and adherence to customer specifications\nAssist with repairs to automobiles, buses, and light trucks according to repair manuals, using hand tools and power tools.\nRemoves upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window, seat-operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle body and fender.\nPositions block against surface of dented area and beats opposite surface to remove dents using hammer and fills depressions with solder or other plastic material. \nRemoves damaged fenders, panels, and grills, using wrenches and cutting torch, and bolts or welds replacement, straightens bent frames, using hydraulic jack and pulling device, files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools. \nRefinishes repaired surface, using paint spray gun and sander, aims headlights, aligns wheels, bleeds hydraulic brake system, and may paint surface after performing body repairs. \nMust have basic computer skills and be able to communicate with Prime leadership and customers in written form.\nQualifications\nEducation/Certificates\nMust possess a High School Diploma or equivalent\nMust possess either a valid driver's license issued by their Home of Record (HOR) or a valid Naval Station Guantanamo Bay (NSGB) Base Driver's License\nExperience:\n2 - 3 years working in an auto body shop\nPainting and performing auto body repairs \nUpdating work order using a tablet, computer, and/or handwritten paper workorders. \nInventory control\nPlacing orders for material and parts\nTime management\nSkills: \nExcellent Customer Service skills\nDetail oriented\nMust speck, write, and read English, as well as provide and receive directions in English.\nMaterial/Equipment:\nComputers\nTablet\nTwo-way radios\nOffice equipment\nHand tools and power tools\nWorking Conditions:\nActivities occur inside and outside\nExposure to high humidity and temperatures \nIsland environment\nWorking across the globe, V2X builds smart solutions designed to integrate physical and digital infrastructure from base to battlefield.
