Conducts unit-level maintenance on aircraft electrical, navigational, and avionics components, adhering to the specific aircraft Operators Manual, Maintenance Test Flight Manual, Check List Manual, and customer or specific directives. Diagnoses and rectifies malfunctions in aircraft systems and components, including solid-state and transistorized devices, following relevant technical manuals, directives, and safety procedures. Utilizes common and precision measuring tools, performs operational checks on aircraft electrical systems, and tests, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical systems test sets and diagnostic equipment. Assists the Customer in requisitioning and maintaining Shop and Bench stock items for repairing aircraft avionics systems and instruments. Performs operator maintenance on common and special tools, AGSE, and PGSE, prepares aircraft maintenance forms and records, and ensures all related operations are carried out safely.\nResponsibilities\nEnsures that aircraft electrical maintenance functional activities and procedures among designated organizations are planned, coordinated, integrated, and synchronized to achieve established platform operational readiness (OR) rates IAW contractual requirements.\nResponsible for the compliance with established maintenance systems, processes, procedures and reports that provide immediate situational awareness of platform OR rates.\nEstablishes daily aircraft electrical maintenance operational goals, objectives and priorities for implementation in-order to achieve stated OR rates.\nOversees the daily aircraft electrical maintenance management of individually assigned aircraft in support of the Production Control (PC) Manager, in conjunction with the Aviation Logistics for related platform parts and spares.\nWorks within the maintenance quality control processes, procedures, and standards.\nDirects inquires, investigations, and research analysis related to aviation electrical maintenance of the aircraft and supporting maintenance activities to the PC Manager.\nCoordinates activities and requirements for maintenance operations support with the PC Manager.\nCoordinates through Production Control for daily and weekly maintenance training activities.\nIn coordination with the PC and Flight Operations Managers, supports the Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) processes and procedures.\nOther tasks as directed by management.\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nAssociates degree or higher required due to visa requirements.\nAs a condition of employment in Saudi Arabia, all candidates must successfully complete the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s Qualification Verification Program (QVP) to ensure eligibility for visa processing and employment authorization.\nFAA A&P certificate.\nFive (5) years’ experience as an AH-64E, UH-60M, OH-58D aircraft electrician.\nExperience:\nGraduate of a US Military aircraft electrician maintenance course or civilian equivalent.\nPrevious experience in unit level electrical repairs on the supported aircraft.\nQualified by the appropriate USG armed forces aircraft electrician maintenance course or civilian equivalent required.\nProficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft related documentation.\nPossess a valid U.S driver’s license and Passport.\nDD214 required for military experience.\nMust be able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements that include medical, drug testing, background checks, etc.\nAt V2X, we are deeply committed to both equal employment opportunity, including protection for Veterans and individuals with disabilities, and fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
