This position is responsible for coordinating the daily and strategic operations supporting the infrastructure services outlined in Appendices W through AG of the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The CE Operations Lead will supervise a diverse team of technical professionals, ensuring the timely and quality execution of all contractual requirements including facilities maintenance, engineering, utilities, and environmental compliance.

The successful candidate will provide leadership, personnel management, and quality assurance for work across multiple sub-disciplines including mechanical, electrical, civil, environmental, and operations engineering. The CE Operations Lead must be available, either physically or remotely, to respond to emergencies related to Base Operation Infrastructure Support.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain an effective Quality Control Plan (QCP) to verify that all work meets or exceeds the standards outlined in the PWS.
  • Ensure consistent compliance with environmental, safety, and security regulations while conducting operations and maintenance of all base infrastructure systems.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for CE Operations at AAAF, coordinating with government representatives, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance for planning, design reviews, engineering evaluations, and troubleshooting infrastructure systems.
  • Maintain system documentation, develop reports, and support audits, inspections, and briefings as required.
  • Remain available for emergency support and after-hours response, whether on-site or remotely.
  • This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may be required to perform other duties assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

  • Familiarity with U.S. Air Force or DoD base operations standards and environmental requirements.
  • Knowledge of international codes, Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), and environmental safety standards.

Skills

  • Proven ability to manage work scheduling, resource allocation, and performance oversight across diverse infrastructure systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with contract compliance, work planning, and customer interfacing in a base support or military environment.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and executing contractual requirements, technical manuals, engineering plans, and facility operations procedures.

Work Conditions:
