They are responsible for managing and delivering comprehensive electrical technical services associated with facilities operation and maintenance various duties, such as setting up test equipment, preparing documentation, updating CADD/CAM files, maintaining technical drawings and specifications, and conducting general troubleshooting of systems and equipment. The Electrical Engineer shall directly support & engage both in construction and facility projects, and with facilities operation and maintenance to provide design oversight, reviewing submittals, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams during design, construction stages, and facilities operations and maintenance. The electrical engineer performs duties as the energy manager and is responsible for establishing and executing a base wide energy management program to promote responsible use of resources and use of sustainable energy. As the Energy Manager, utilizes various tools and software to monitor building utility consumption to assist with determining energy reduction projects for the organization.
