Aligned around a shared purpose, our $3.9B company and 16,000 people work alongside our clients, here and abroad, to tackle their most complex challenges with integrity, respect, responsibility, and professionalism.\nGeneral Function:\nDuties and responsibilities for this position include providing Field Service Support for Advantor customers.\nResponsibilities\nThis position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.\nSpecific Duties:\nPerform routine systems maintenance and service repairs for customers with technical, application and service-related aspects of integrated alarm intrusion systems, access control systems, and VMS/CCTV.\nPerform systems preventative maintenance inspections per manufacturer’s recommendation on integrated alarm intrusion systems, access control systems, VMS/CCTV.\nProvide system performance analysis on the IDS and ACS operational platforms.\nProvide 24 hours per day, 7 days per week emergency service capability as needed for On-call service as scheduled.\nProvide routine updates and implement software upgrades as needed.\nProvide informal end-user system operational instructions and support in conjunction with maintenance or service visits to customer locations.\nDocument all calls for service, preventive maintenance requirements and interface with technical support center ensure all required service documentation is completed and delivered per contractual requirements.\nCoordinate PM task scheduling, maintain system configuration documentation for timely completion of monthly requirements.\nInterface with engineering, testing and documentation departments.\nProvides Sales and Design team support for new business opportunities.\nSome regional travel may be required.\nProvide general maintenance and safekeeping of company vehicles (when assigned)\nTechnical support for installation activities.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:\nKnowledge and hands on experience with electronic alarm systems, including CCTV equipment and associated hardware.\nKnowledge and hands on experience with electronic access control systems and associated hardware.\nExperience involving programming software associated with electronic alarm and access control systems.\nGBR experience is a plus.\nTwo years of related college is a plus.\nGeneral knowledge and experience with latest Windows operating system\nGeneral knowledge and experience with MS Office software and CRMs.\nGeneral computer hardware knowledge.\nAbility to work unsupervised in a team environment.\nExcellent communication and customer service skills.\nMust have valid driver’s license for state of employment.\nCLEARANCE:\nrequires a TS/SCI eligibility clearance.\nAt V2X, we are deeply committed to both equal employment opportunity, including protection for Veterans and individuals with disabilities, and fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
