Responsible for delivery of service to ensure contract compliance and program execution.\nResponsibilities\nThis position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.\nSpecific Duties:\nPerform routine systems maintenance and service repairs for customers with technical, application and service related aspects of integrated alarm intrusion systems, access control systems, CCTV and GBR.\nPerform systems preventative maintenance inspections per manufacturer’s recommendation on integrated alarm intrusion systems, access control systems, CCTV and GBR.\nGather information from field in order to duplicate any reported problems in lab environment.\nDocument all calls for service, preventive maintenance requirements and interface with technical support center ensure all required service documentation is completed daily and delivered to Service Department.\nProvides Sales and Customer Service departments information on proper application of products.\nProvide general maintenance and safe keeping of company vehicle (when assigned) May assist with field installations of IDS, Access Control, CCTV and GBR systems as required.\nQualifications\nExperience:\nExtensive knowledge and 2+ years hands on experience with electronic alarm systems, sensors and access control systems.\nExperience using programming software associated with electronic alarm and access control systems.\nGeneral knowledge of computer hardware and experience with Windows Operating Systems & MS Office.\nExcellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to work unsupervised in a team environment.\nDesired Experience:\nCCTV and GBR experience is a plus.\nEducation:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required with 2 years of experience.\nAssociate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology can be substituted for the experience. \nClearance:\nMust have current, active Secret clearance\nTravel:\nProvide 24 hours per day, 7 days per week emergency service capability as needed On-call service as scheduled.\nTravel between McConnell AFB and Vance AFB\nAt V2X, we are deeply committed to both equal employment opportunity, including protection for Veterans and individuals with disabilities, and fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
