Responsibilities V2X is seeking an Electronics Technician Maintenance I to perform radar transmitter duties on the Cobra Dane radar system located at Shemya, Alaska. This position is a remote assignment in Shemya, Alaska with a rotation of approximately 8 weeks on island and 5 weeks off island. This position is governed by the Service Contract (ETM I 23181) and paid IAW the Alaska Wage Determination. The candidates will be required to apply basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve transmitter problems by interpreting manufacturer’s manuals, USAF Technical Orders, local operating instructions, and similar documents.
