Records all maintenance activities in real-time in InSITE. Adheres to warranty terms for maintained items, tracking them by part number, serial number, and location. Monitors hardware baselines, reverting to previous versions if updates fail.\nResponsibilities\nJob Description:\nPerforms scheduled, preventive, corrective maintenance and configuration on the Engagement Skills Trainer II (EST) simulation equipment and weapons following technical manuals, preventive maintenance checklists, or industry best practices when no checklist is available.\nPerforms repairs on modified military weapons such as M4, M240, and M249.\nCoordinates with leads to ensure maintenance tasks do not conflict with training, exercises, and testing.\nRecords all maintenance activities in real-time in Maximo and InSITE.\nAdheres to warranty terms for maintained items, tracking them by part number, serial number, and location.\nSets up and tests simulation equipment and weapons to confirm all components work as expected, including interoperability and operation verification.\nAnalyzes maintenance trends, tracks component consumption, manages obsolescence, implements risk management strategies, and conducts failure analysis to minimize risks and improve system reliability.\nInstalls modifications or upgrade kits as per manufacturer's instructions.\nMay also be responsible for installing and maintaining software and hardware installs and managing patches and security compliance for installed applications and operating systems. \nQualifications\nMinimum Requirements:\nIntermediate computer and networking skills.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.\nMust be able to obtain / maintain a valid driver’s license and On-Post driving privileges.\nMust be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.\nExperience utilizing test equipment to include torque wrenches, volt / micrometers, network cable crimping/testers and solder stations to support repairs.\nPerform preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot, and repair equipment as necessary.\nPerform electrical and mechanical adjustment, remove, and replace failed components, and make repairs on equipment.\nPerform breakdown and reassembly of various military weapons such as M4, M240, and M249.\nEducation / Professional Experience:\nMaster's degree plus one (1) year of relevant experience OR\nBachelor's degree plus two (2) years of relevant experience OR\nAssociates degree plus four (4) years of relevant experience OR\nNo degree and six (6) years of relevant experience.\nClearance:\nNACI Background\nAbility to Obtain and Maintain DoD Secret within 6 months of hire date.\nCertifications:\nBasic Electronic Technical Certificate IAW ISO 17024 standards.\nPhysical Demands:\nStand for long periods of time.\nMust have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance.\nBend, squat, climb, and reach.\nRepetitive motion.
