Ensures work is complete and conforms to standards and requirements IAW Technical Manuals, Army Regulations, established processes, and local SOPs.\nResponsibilities\nThis position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.\nPerforms maintenance inspections, services, repairs, and overhauls of generator sets, power units, power plants, load switchboards, load distribution terminal boards, decontamination equipment, steam cleaners, small engine driven equipment, and other Special Purpose Equipment.\nEnsures work is complete and conforms to standards and requirements IAW Technical Manuals, Army Regulations, established processes, and local SOPs.\nQualifications\nQualifications Local National\nMinimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must provide a copy of the diploma.\nMust be a Philippine Citizen\n\n Experience:Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a generator mechanic.\n\nSkills:Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.\n\n Working Conditions:Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 85 degrees Fahrenheit.\nIndoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, tropical environment with average temperatures of 85 degrees in the summer months).\nIncludes some industrial production environment conditions as well.\n\n Physical Requirements:Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.\nEmployee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations.
