Services include mowing and trimming, edging; weed/vegetation control is limited to application of herbicides.\nResponsibilities\nOversees grounds maintenance staff performance to ensure work standards and safety regulations are met.\nSchedule grounds maintenance actions to meet performance as outlined in PWS.\nApply herbicide when applicable.\nEnsure grounds maintenance tools/equipment are maintained fully operational.\nInitiate corrective actions to resolve problems, prevent delays and guarantee customer satisfaction.\nResponsible for following a comprehensive safety program in compliance with Vectrus, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and United States Navy (USN) requirements.\nResponsible for maintaining a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutter and trash in all working facilities and areas.\nResponsible for completing all required training to include staff.\nResponsible for proper utilization and safeguarding of all provided property (e.g., facilities, equipment, and tools).\nResponsible for precise execution of company time reporting procedures and accurate completion of timesheets.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nEducation / Certifications:High school diploma or equivalent.\nMust possess home of country license and must be capable of obtaining a USG base driver’s license\nMust be able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements.\n\nExperience:Must possess a minimum of two years' of experience in supervising maintenance of grounds and surfaced areas.\nExperience with operating a variety of grounds maintenance equipment.\n\nSkills & Technology Used:Ability to understand grounds maintenance techniques and equipment operation.\nKnowledge and ability in computer applications.\n\nWorking Environment:Tropical, seasonally hot, humid, with maritime influence and semi-continental features.\nRainy period runs from May to October.\nIt is characterized by the influence of the North Atlantic Anticyclone, Dry season extends from November to April\n\n Material & Equipment Directly Used:Push lawnmowers, Zero Turn Mowers, Tractors, Weed Eaters, Chainsaws, Trimmers, and Hedge Clippers\nPick-up Trucks with Trailers, Shovels, Hand Rakes, Blowers, Brooms, and Basic Hand Tools etc.\nLaptop or Desk Computer\n\nAt V2X, we are deeply committed to both equal employment opportunity, including protection for Veterans and individuals with disabilities, and fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
