Aligned around a shared purpose, our $4.5B company and 16,000 people work alongside our clients, here and abroad, to tackle their most complex challenges with integrity, respect, responsibility, and professionalism.\nResponsible for the performance of Horizontal Maintenance / Roads and Grounds Activities at all sites to include vegetation control, dust abatement, erosion control, and conduct minor repairs of roads, grounds, airfields, and barriers\nResponsibilities\nThis position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.\nOversees roads and grounds / horizontal maintenance staff performing maintenance or repairs of varying scope and ensures that work standards and safety regulations are met.\nOversees and schedules grounds, roadway, footpath and outdoor recreational area, preventative maintenance programs.\nOversees the preparation of or prepares maintenance reports, estimates of work hours, materials, and resources required for projects.\nOversees and/or performs repairs and preventive maintenance work on parking lots, roads, fences, sidewalks or open areas.\nCoordinates activities required in support of construction project preparations (i.e. grading, rolling, leveling)\nPerform other duties as assigned\nQualifications\n Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)\nMust be a U.S. Citizen\nMust possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:Undergraduate degree preferred.\n\nExperience:Must possess a minimum of Seven years of experience in maintenance of grounds and surfaced areas.\n\nSkills:Ability to understand lawn maintenance techniques, equipment operation, and road surface repair.\nKnowledge and ability in computer applications.\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities:Supervises Roads/Grounds and Horizontal Maintenance Staff.\n\n Working Conditions:Must be capable of working in varied weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions.\nIndoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, wet, tropical environment with average temperatures of 85 degrees in the summer months).\nIncludes some industrial production environment conditions as well.\nThe worker is subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.\nThe worker is subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.\n\n Physical Requirements:Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.\nWork may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.\nEmployee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations.
