Aligned around a shared purpose, our $4.5B company and 16,000 people work alongside our clients, here and abroad, to tackle their most complex challenges with integrity, respect, responsibility, and professionalism.\nOverseas all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Operations directly reports to the Transportation Operations Manager, assists the program and other annexes in all MHE related functions.\nResponsibilities\nOversee the daily operation of all MHE staff and operation, ensures equipment is properly maintained and personnel have all required training and certifications. \nProvide instruction on how to operate equipment to train personnel. \nResponsible for the upkeep of assigned PPE, tools, equipment, vehicles etc. and is liable to turn in for scheduled maintenance or when identified faulty. \nResponsible for updating work orders using either a tablet, computer and/or handwritten on paper workorder. \nUpdates included changing the work order status, inputting a log, requesting material and time performance. \nPerforms general housekeeping when working on site. \nMay be required to perform other duties as assigned. \nMay be required to work weekends, holidays, early and late shifts.\nQualifications\nEducation:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalate \nMust possess either a valid driver's license issued by their Home of Record (HOR) or a valid Naval Station Guantanamo Bay (NSGB) Base Driver's License\nMust be able to obtain all required certifications within the first 180 days upon arrival at NSGB\nExperience:\n3-5 years of experience in MHE Operations. \nExperience with Micro Soft Suite\nTraining staff members in operations\nSkills:\nStrong communication and leadership skills\nMust speck, read and write English, including providing and receiving direction in English. \nBasic computer skills\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite\nWork Environment: \nMostly working in an office environment\nExposure to environmental changes such as extreme heat and humidity\nPPE is required in designated area.\nAt V2X, we are deeply committed to both equal employment opportunity, including protection for Veterans and individuals with disabilities, and fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
