This leadership role involves managing the full lifecycle of engineering programs - from proposal and design through implementation, testing, sustainment, and modernization - ensuring alignment with local JPRMC-IS and Department of Defense (DoD) objectives.\nResponsibilities\nLead and mentor a team of 15-20 engineers and technical staff, ensuring delivery of high-quality system solutions and career development.\nOversee engineering execution for JPRMC-IS and training networks, including RF systems, system / network administration, and system integration.\nCollaborate with cross-functional leaders (Chief Engineers, Program Managers, and Technical Leads) to drive proposals, ensure compliance, and exceed customer expectations.\nProvide technical oversight of subcontractors and guide strategic workforce planning and succession management.\nSupport business development efforts through engineering input on proposals, white papers, and technical roadmaps.\nDeliver detailed technical reports, highlight engineering milestones, and represent V2X in customer and leadership briefings.\nQualifications\nEducation Requirements:\nBachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Mathematics and 10+ years of relevant experience OR\nMaster’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Mathematics and 8+ years of relevant experience.\nRequired Qualifications:\n8+ years of engineering experience in the DoD sector.\nExpertise in system / network administration, RF coverage analysis, cybersecurity, and system lifecycle management.\nProven ability to lead, mentor, and develop technical staff to include engineers and field technicians.\nStrong communication, proposal development, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nFamiliarity with CTC operations and rotational support.\nExperience with spectrum management tools and RF planning software.\nFamiliarity with RF path analysis, coverage modeling, and antenna design / selection principles.\nAbility to perform as a proposal leader with experience in capture management: creating/reviewing RFPs, SOWs, BOEs, tech volumes, and proposals.\nUnderstanding of software design and implementation in embedded systems for DoD platforms.\nExperience with commercial-off-the-shelf security technologies and trusted products.\nKnowledge of reverse engineering principles and methods.\nExperience in Network Design, implementation and support.\nSecurity Requirements:\nAn active DOD Secret level Security Clearance is required for this position.\nCategory:\nFull Time / Salaried / Exempt\nAt V2X, we are deeply committed to both equal employment opportunity, including protection for Veterans and individuals with disabilities, and fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
