The analyst will provide relevant business knowledge and technical support as it relates to Navy ERP financial business processes.\nResponsibilities\nThis position will provide functional and technical subject matter expertise (SME) in support of NAVAIR’s financial business processes within Navy ERP. The selected individual will work directly with NBO personnel, NAVAIR Navy ERP end-users, business process owners, and external stakeholders (e.g., PMW-220, other Command Business Offices, ASN(FM&C)-FMS, etc.) to analyze and troubleshoot Navy ERP system issues, provide feedback on new Navy ERP capabilities, and guide adoption of software solutions. The analyst will provide Financial related sustainment and end-user support.\n\nAnalyze, resolve and track Navy ERP system and end-user issues.\nAssess recurring business processes and system errors to identify root causes.\nGather and analyze Navy ERP data to quantify system issues and/or answer data requests.\nProvide feedback on new or updated Navy ERP capabilities.\nParticipate in sessions to provide business process functional and technical expertise to develop requirements for new or updated business processes as they relate to Navy ERP.\nPerform analysis of changes and solutions being made to Navy ERP to develop testing strategies and test plans for Navy ERP.\nExecute Navy ERP testing to ensure changes and solutions perform as documented and do not adversely impact NAVAIR’s business processes.\nDevelop and maintain deliverables such as User Desk Guides, SOPs, communiques, and targeted emails.\nQualifications\nEducation / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.\nDegree preferred but not required.\nHigh School Dimplma Required\nExperience:\n2 to 4 years of demonstrated experience providing business and financial support in a Navy ERP environment.\nProficiency in Navy ERP processing in two or more of the following areas:\nAnalyzing complex analyses of financial data, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions.\nTranslating complex financial data into presentable findings, actionable guidance and clear recommendations.\nExperience/knowledge in accounting policies, laws and regulations.\nExperience with integrated financial management systems.\nExperience in Navy ERP Finance modules.\nOther Requirements:\nSecret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required to access U.S.-only data systems.\nAnalytical Thinking & Problem Solving:\nStrong analytical and interpersonal skills.\nEffective problem-solving and analytical techniques.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nBusiness Partner/Effective Communicator:\nStrong English language skills to communicate with stakeholders.\nAbility to take complex technical or programmatic information and distill it into clear, concise, and understandable terms for diverse audiences.\nExcellent written and oral communication skills.\nAbility to train, lead projects, and collaborate effectively with team members.
