Our Indianapolis facility also supports a variety of other product lines serving multiple Department of Defense (DoD) customers providing the opportunity to work on a diverse set of programs and roles supporting the continued advancement of your career.\nResponsibilities\nThe Principal Systems Engineer will support the Chief Engineer and Program Manager in all aspects of product area execution and customer interface. The position requires in-depth technical domain knowledge, strong communication skills, and ability to build close customer relationships. The Principal Systems Engineer will be part of the leadership team that represents the company to the customer and upper leadership. The Principal Systems Engineer is also responsible to provide technical and programmatic guidance throughout the entire lifecycle to a multi-domain development team, including proactively driving resolutions of issues encountered. The Principal Systems Engineer also provides program support throughout the development life cycle, from concept development, requirements definition, functional analysis, design review support, system implementation, integration, verification, and validation.\nThe ideal candidate embraces modern development processes and techniques that improve product quality & team productivity.
