Aligned around a shared purpose, our $3.9B company and 16,000 people work alongside our clients, here and abroad, to tackle their most complex challenges with integrity, respect, responsibility, and professionalism.\nGENERAL FUNCTION:\nDuties and responsibilities for this position include providing Field Service Support for Advantor customers.\nResponsibilities\nThis position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.\nSPECIFIC DUITES:\nPerform routine maintenance and service repairs for customers with technical, application and service related aspects of integrated alarm intrusion systems, access control systems, CCTV and GBR.\nPerform preventative maintenance inspections per manufacturer’s recommendation on integrated alarm intrusion systems, access control systems, CCTV and GBR.\nProvide system performance analysis on the IDS operational platform.\nProvide routine updates and implement software upgrades as needed.\nProvide informal end-user system operational instructions and support in conjunction with maintenance or service visits to customer locations.\nGather information from field to duplicate any reported problems in lab environment. \nAssist with field installations of IDS, Access Control, CCTV and GBR systems as required.\nDocument all calls for service, preventive maintenance requirements and interface with technical support center as needed.\nEnsure all required service documentation is completed daily and delivered to Service Department as required.\nProvide general maintenance and safekeeping of company vehicle.\nQualifications\nEXPERIENCE:\n3-5 years related professional work experience\nKnowledge and hands on experience with electronic alarm systems, including CCTV equipment and associated hardware.\nKnowledge and hands on experience with electronic access control systems and associated hardware.\nExperience involving programming software associated with electronic alarm and access control systems.\nGeneral knowledge and experience with latest Windows operating system, MS Office, and CRMs.\nGeneral computer hardware knowledge.\nAbility to work unsupervised in a team environment.\nMust have valid driver’s license for state of employment. \nDESIRED EXPERIENCE:\nGBR experience is a plus.\nSecurity+ or CCNA certification is preferred.\nTwo years of related college is a plus. \nEDUCATION:\nAssociate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology can be substituted for the experience.\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required with 3 years of experience.\nCLEARANCE:\nMust have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance \nLOCATION:\nEastern Coastal Region from Georgia to New York\nTRAVEL:\nProvide 24 hours per day, 7 days per week emergency service capability as needed.\nOn-call service as required.\nUp to 100% vehicle travel is required.\nCOMPENSATION:\n$33.00 - $35.00 / HR based on experience\nAt V2X, we are deeply committed to both equal employment opportunity, including protection for Veterans and individuals with disabilities, and fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
