Accountable For: Inventory Counts; Cash drawer audits and reconciliations; Ordering and maintaining products. #LI-CB1\nResponsibilities\nThis position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.\nSubmit, recurring, Class 1 retail DeCA and FFV orders for retail sale stores and Class 1 DeCA and FFV purchase requisitions for the Reagan Test Site (RTS) mission support requirements.\nOversees product receipt, storage, issuing, restocking, and dry and cold storage function\nWorks with joint mission partners to ensure planning and ordering for special needs and events greater than 90 days out\nInspects product for damage, spoilage, waste, and files proper reports with COR/ACO\nTrains and mentors Store Managers and staff\nEngages with customers and handles special requests\nEngages with customers and addresses complaints, elevating to senior management as necessary\nConducts regular inventories to ensure stock levels and capture pilferage\nWorks with vendors developing seasonal product rotation strategies ensuring selection remains ‘fresh’ while maintaining staples\nDevelops and updates standard operating procedures ensuring efficient compliant operations\nProcesses all paperwork in a timely manner ensuring accuracy in all reporting\nAnalyzes sales and customer satisfaction data to develop strategies for improvement at all locations\nDevelops and enforces Job Safety Analysis forms ensuring safe and trained workforce\nAttends meetings with the COR and ACO\nTakes decisive action to eliminate unsafe conditions\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nQualifications\nMinimum QualificationsEducation/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if the degree is required.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card for NIPR access\nValid U.S. Driver’s license\n\nCertifications:LSS Green Belt/Black belt preferred but not necessary\n\nExperience:Minimum of 6 years Management experience, at least 4 of which should have been in a retail grocery environment or military supply\nFamiliarity with Military Supply system\n\n Skills:Knowledge of OSHA workplace safety requirements\nKnowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and storage requirements to meet compatibility of products based on hazard class is required.\nLeadership and management skills, including a professional demeanor, are required.\nStrong interpersonal skills are required.\nAbility to exercise discretion and good judgement is required.\nAbility to prioritized responsibilities to handle a demanding workload is required.\nAttention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is required.\nAdvance ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written form is required.\nHigh-level organizational and planning skills, so that workflow is managed and accurate is required.\nBasic proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook and ALL Microsoft applications is required.\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities:Responsible for managing P&L for retail sales and ensuring minimum waste levels\n\n Working Conditions:Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.\nIndoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, tropical environment with average temperatures of 130 degrees in the summer months).\nIncludes some industrial production environment conditions as well.\nThe worker may be required to spend extended time in a computer room environment.\n\n Physical Requirements:Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.\nWork may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.\nEmployee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations.
