In this role, you will support RMF and ATO activities by conducting vulnerability scans with ACAS, applying DISA STIG configurations, and resolving system flaws.\nResponsibilities\nPlan, test, and implement system upgrades to ensure optimal performance and reliability.\nSupport RMF and ATO activities, including vulnerability scanning (ACAS, Evaluate STIG) and development of accreditation artifacts.\nIntegrate new software applications within complex, mission-critical environments.\nApply and maintain operating system security configurations in alignment with DISA STIG requirements.\nIdentify and resolve system flaws, implementing technical controls to strengthen cybersecurity.\nConduct vulnerability scans and assessments to safeguard systems from potential threats.\nTroubleshoot and resolve software issues within integrated environments to maintain seamless operations.\nEnsure compliance with DoD RMF, FISMA, NIST 800-53, and DoD SRG requirements.\nQualifications\nEducation / Certifications:\nCompTIA Security + is required\nBachelor's degree in a STEM related area of study may be considered in lieu of the full 5 years of experience.\nQualified candidates will have the MS Certified Solutions Associate (Windows Server 2016 or later), Red Hat Certified System Administrator, or VMware Certified Professional and one of the following industry certifications: Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, SSCP.\nThis position requires an active Top Secret clearance.\nExperience:\nA minimum of 5 years of experience as a network engineer or technician.\n5 years of related system administration experience is preferred.\nStrong working knowledge of vCenter/VMware is required.\nProficiency with Windows operating systems is required; experience with Linux is a plus.\nExperience managing DoD Host Based Security Systems (HBSS) is preferred.\nDemonstrated experience managing Domain Name System (DNS) performance and reliability.\nProven experience implementing and maintaining local and group policies.\nHands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory (AD) domain controller servers for managing authentication, authorization, and network resources.\nKnowledge of log aggregation and analysis across multiple sources.\nFamiliarity with Windows PowerShell is preferred.\nAt V2X, we are deeply committed to both equal employment opportunity, including protection for Veterans and individuals with disabilities, and fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
