You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of a product, from initial research and development to installation and final commissioning.\nYour Day-to-Day:\nConduct research to develop new and improved manufacturing processes.\n\nDevelop, modify, and test materials used in the design of aerospace systems.\n\nPerform failure analysis and develop solutions to address them.\n\nMonitor material performance and evaluate material deterioration.\n\nInterpret materials and process specifications in aerospace manufacturing.\n\nResearch and develop innovative material processing techniques.\n\nEnsure materials and processes comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations (e.g. REACH, RoHS)\n\nWork closely with design engineers to integrate materials and processes into design.\n\nEstablish and maintain detailed documentation of materials and processes for future reference and regulatory compliance.\n\nProvide technical advice to engineering and manufacturing teams on material selection and process optimization.\n\nYour Profile:\nMaster's degree in Materials Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.\n\nMinimum of 8-10 years of experience in aerospace materials and processes engineering in at least one aircraft development programs, ideally two programs.\n\nStrong understanding of materials properties and manufacturing processes.\n\nProficiency in failure analysis and problem-solving.\n\nAbility to work in a multidisciplinary and agile team environment.\n\nExcellent communication and documentation skills.\n\nExperience with supplier collaboration.\n\nPassioned about aviation and electrification of aviation industry.\n\nIdeally experience in test specification, execution and processing of test results related to airframe & structures\n\nWe recognize that women and other under-represented groups are often overlooked in our industry.
