This role requires a strong blend of technical depth, leadership excellence, and execution discipline to support high-growth platforms serving millions of users.\nKey Responsibilities\n 1. Engineering Leadership\nLead and mentor multiple engineering teams (frontend, backend, mobile, DevOps)\nWork closely with Delivery Heads, Architects, and Product leadership\nDrive engineering culture focused on ownership, quality, and accountability\nEstablish clear KPIs and performance frameworks for teams\n2. Architecture & Technology Strategy\nDrive transition from monolithic systems to microservices architecture\nEnsure systems are scalable, resilient, and high performing\nDefine and enforce engineering standards, design patterns, and best practices\nReview and approve architecture, deployment, and API designs\n3. Execution & Delivery\nOwn end-to-end delivery of multiple high-impact projects\nEnsure releases meet quality, performance, and security standards\nDrive release governance with zero production downtime goals\nMonitor progress across roadmap and ensure on-time delivery\n4. Performance & Optimization\nEnsure systems meet high-performance benchmarks (near 0-second load experience)\nLead initiatives for cost optimization (Cloud, infra, API efficiency)\nMonitor system health using tools like Application Insights, Logs, etc.\nIdentify and resolve bottlenecks across platform layers\n5. Quality, Security & Compliance\nEnforce secure coding practices and vulnerability management\nEnsure automated testing (unit, integration, E2E) is in place\nDrive compliance with SOC2, PCI, and security standards\nImplement robust code review, CI/CD, and quality gates\n6. Cross-functional Collaboration\nPartner with Product, Design, QA, and Operations teams\nWork with global teams (US/India) to align delivery timelines\nProvide regular updates to leadership (CPTO, VP Engineering)\n7.
