If you’re someone who wants to learn fast, take ownership, and grow beyond limits, you’ll feel right at home here.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage and maintain infrastructure, including servers, network devices, storage systems, and virtualization platforms.\nInstall, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.\nImplement and maintain security measures to protect data and systems from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.\nMonitor system performance and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.\nPlan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and patch management activities, adhering to best practices and minimizing disruptions to business operations.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives, providing technical expertise and guidance for projects.\nDevelop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and policies, to ensure effective knowledge transfer and compliance with regulatory requirements.\nProvide technical support and assistance to end users, resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure productivity and user satisfaction.\nParticipate in on-call rotation and respond to system emergencies outside of regular business hours as needed.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\nProven experience as a System Administrator or similar role in a high-tech environment.\nStrong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows operating systems, as well as experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).\nStrong understanding of system hardware and remote management via IPMItool, iLO, iDRAC, etc.\nProficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.\nFamiliarity with network protocols, security principles, and the ITIL framework.\nExcellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.\nPreferred Qualifications\nRelevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, VMware Certified Professional).\nVailexa Technology is an equal opportunity employer.
