The project manager is also an influential member of the delivery team, and instrumental in creating a highly engaged delivery team.\nResponsibilities of the Role\nLead and manage projects successfully\nUnderstand the contracts, goals and constraints before starting a project\n\nEstablish clear ways of working\n\nSteer projects proactively by doing regular forecasting on budget, milestones etc\n\nManage projects responsibly by identifying and mitigating risks\n\nSufficient understanding of project requirements & solution\n\nMonitor and control project progress, outcome and quality\n\nProactively manage changes in scope\n\nKeep project plans and documentation up to date\n\nComply to Vaimo’s delivery methodology, processes and templates\n\nAccountable for managing project scope, budget, timeline and quality\n\nProject health\nRegularly monitor the health of the Project and the satisfaction levels of the assigned client(s)\n\nPerform regular estimate-to-completions (ETC) and budget forecasts\n\nEscalate through appropriate channels if you see project health or client satisfaction is at risk of dropping\n\nComplete regular resource forecasting to ensure that your projects are equipped with the right team members to deliver as planned.\n\nFlagging and internally aligning (approval) expected write-offs as soon as they are forecasted\n\nTeam management\nEnable the team to deliver successfully\n\nTeam routines and agreed ways of working are followed\n\nClear team communication (goals, success criteria, priorities, changes etc)\n\nHold team members accountable for executing their part of the delivery\n\nWhere required, lead and facilitate the onboarding of new team members\n\nIdentify and mitigate gaps or challenges in the delivery team\n\nCommunication & reporting\nCommunicate Project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders on status meetings, steering committee meetings, reports etc (according to contract and agreed ways of working)\n\nMake sure all client communication and reporting is correct, on time and of high quality\n\nEnsure that an effective governance structure is in place\n\nEnsure meeting attendance, timely decision making and engagement from all critical stakeholders (internal and external)\n\nCommunicate and document progress, decisions, changes etc to manage expectations of project teams and stakeholders\n\nClear and timely reporting of project health, status reports, invoicing reports etc.\n\nSeek and share knowledge across the organisation\n\nMeasures of success for this role\nThis role will be measured on both lag and lead measures:\nLag measures will include:\nClient Satisfaction (NPS)\n\nProject profitability\n\nProject chargeability\n\nLead measures will include:\nProject engagement and alignment with client, teams and other stakeholders\n\nDelivering Projects according to strategic goals, KPIs & expectations\n\nDelivering profitable Projects\n\nEnsure continuous high client satisfaction\n\nOperational KPIs\nControl and manage write-offs\n\nEnsure a high Project chargeability and profitability\n\nCorrect Project allocation - planning & forecast leading to profitable utilisation figures\n\nSkills & Requirements:\nProven experience as a Project Manager in a digital agency, consultancy, or client-services environment, delivering software and digital projects for external clients\n\nStrong track record of successfully delivering projects, maintaining high client satisfaction, and managing end-to-end project delivery\n\nExperience working with enterprise clients and leading challenging client-facing conversations\n\nSolid understanding of project management methodologies, frameworks, and tools, with the ability to apply them effectively in complex environments\n\nExperience delivering software development projects and leading distributed, cross-functional teams\n\nStrong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships across multiple internal and external stakeholders\n\nExcellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills\n\nCommercially minded, goal-oriented, and proactive in driving project outcomes and business value\n\nStrong advocate of using digital tools and data to track project progress, risks, health, and compliance\n\nProfessional certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or equivalent) and/or Agile methodologies (CSM, PSM, SAFe, or equivalent) is highly desirable\n\nDegree in Business Administration, Management, or a related
