The team promotes continuous improvement and operational excellence across the company. \nThe Role \nThe Production Quality Admin exists to keep quality execution on the production floor organized, traceable, and closed out completely. This role works directly within the Production Quality organization, supporting Production Quality Supervisors and Engineers by ensuring that records, nonconformances, CAPAs, and cross-functional follow-up items connected to production execution are captured accurately, progressed on time, and never lost in the shuffle of a fast-moving manufacturing environment. This is not an inspection role, a technician role, or a quality engineering role. It is a production-floor execution and system-integrity role focused specifically on the records and workflows generated by production quality activities. Production execution at Valar moves quickly, with evolving work instructions, distributed verification, and aggressive build schedules. This role sits within the Torrance manufacturing and fuel fabrication environment, supporting Production Quality Supervisors and Engineers directly on the production floor. The challenge is not defining what production quality requires-it is ensuring that what is supposed to happen on the floor, what actually happens, and what can be proven all line up, without slowing production down.\nKey Responsibilities \nOperate directly alongside production quality personnel on the floor\nMaintain traceability, documentation, and execution discipline for production records\nDrive production-related nonconformances, CAPAs, and quality actions to closure\nCoordinate follow-up across Production, Operations Quality, and Engineering without creating bottlenecks\nMaintain and verify build records, material traceability, and process verification documentation generated during production.\nEnsure required documentation and objective evidence for production activities exists, is accurate, and is retrievable.\nProcess production-related nonconformances, including documentation, classification, and assignment.\nTrack CAPAs tied to production execution through to closure, confirming actions are completed and evidence is captured.\nWork directly with Production Quality Supervisors, Quality Engineers, Operations, and Engineering to ensure production quality requirements are understood, executed, and documented.\nFollow through across teams until production quality issues are fully resolved.\nEnsure production quality issues are clearly documented, properly classified, and progressed.\nDrive issues to closure, confirming outcomes are verified before records are closed out.\nSupport internal and external audits touching production by preparing records, verifying completeness, and coordinating responses.\nEnsure production-related audit findings are tracked, addressed, and closed.\nIdentify recurring gaps or inefficiencies in production quality workflows.\nProvide feedback to Production Quality Supervisors/Engineers, the QMS Architect, and CI/OPEX to improve system performance.\nBasic Qualifications \nStrong ability to organize, track, and follow through on open items without losing sight of the bigger system.\nHigh attention to detail while keeping pace with active production schedules.\nAbility to understand how production processes connect, how data flows between them, and how actions on the floor impact downstream work.\nComfortable working across Production, Operations, and Engineering.\nAble to ask clear questions, follow up persistently, and drive alignment without formal authority.\nComfortable operating in fast-paced production environments with evolving priorities and incomplete systems.\nAble to prioritize effectively under changing conditions.\nAbility to work within digital systems, databases, and tracking tools.\nFamiliarity with structured workflows and documentation systems is preferred.\nWhat We Offer \nCompetitive base salary \nEquity ownership in a rapidly growing advanced energy company \nComprehensive medical benefits \nUnlimited PTO\nFree daily lunch and dinner provided onsite \nGenerous PPE stipend\nHigh-impact startup environment with significant ownership and autonomy \nOpportunities for rapid career growth and internal advancement \nDirect collaboration with experienced operators, engineers, and industry leaders \nThe opportunity to help build and scale transformative energy technology from the ground up\nEqual Employment Opportunity Statement\nValar Atomics is an equal opportunity employer.
