The team partners across the company to build a high-performing organization through recruiting, employee development, engagement, and people operations. \nThe Role \nValar is hiring across all orgs and the volume keeps climbing. We're looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to carry live searches from week one: scheduling interviews, hosting candidates onsite, managing travel, and keeping Greenhouse accurate across every pipeline in flight. Our coordination team already runs a working process, built for a smaller company than the one we're becoming. You'll step into it, then improve it. Competing calendars, late cancellations, and shifting priorities are the normal condition here, and you'll be trusted to resolve most of it yourself. Candidates meet Valar through you first.\nKey Responsibilities \nOwn interview scheduling across teams, time zones, and sites, including the multi-panel days.\nHost candidates onsite and run the day so interviewers and candidates always know where they stand.\nCoordinate candidate travel and review the expenses\nOwn Greenhouse data hygiene: stage accuracy, interview kits, scorecard completion, clean candidate records. \nClose the gap between offer accepted and first day: background checks, paperwork, and the handoff to People Operations.\nResolve scheduling conflicts on your own judgment, bringing recruiters and hiring managers the tradeoff and your recommendation rather than the raw problem.\nKeep pipelines moving with recruiters and hiring managers, flagging stalled candidates and interviewer bottlenecks before a search goes cold.\nLearn what we build and who we hire well enough to answer a candidate's questions yourself.\nImprove the coordination process as you learn it: bring the problem, the proposed fix, then the implementation.\nPitch in on whatever hiring needs most that week, no matter the title on it, no task here is too small when a candidate or a deadline is on the line.\nBasic Qualifications \nExperience managing complex calendars and using tools such as Outlook and Microsoft Office. \nStrong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset. \nHigh level of organization with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. \nAbility to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. \nComfortable working both independently and as part of a team. \nBased in or willing to relocate to Torrance, CA - 5 days onsite\nPreferred Skills and Experience \n2+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, talent operations, or HR coordination. \nExperience using Greenhouse or a similar Applicant Tracking System (ATS). \nBachelor's degree. \nExperience improving or streamlining recruiting or operational processes. \nEqual Employment Opportunity Statement\nValar Atomics is an equal opportunity employer.
