We invite you to put your skills to work, driving meaningful and enduring change while enjoying a rewarding career.\nThe Opportunity\nWe are currently seeking an Analyst II, IT Business Applications, Canada and International to join our Information Technology team in Sudbury, Ontario.\nThis is a fixed-term contract position (12 Months) supporting Business Applications across Vale Base Metals' Canada and International operations. The successful candidate will lead and coordinate application projects and enhancements while supporting the ongoing reliability and effectiveness of enterprise applications.\nReporting to the Supervisor, Business Applications, Canada and International, the Analyst I/II will work across business, IT, and vendor teams to deliver application initiatives from planning through implementation and transition to support.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject and Enhancement Delivery\nLead application implementations, upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and other technology initiatives. \nDefine project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, resource needs, and dependencies. \nDevelop and maintain project plans, milestones, budgets, RAID logs, action registers, and status reporting. \nCoordinate cross-functional business, IT, and vendor teams to deliver agreed outcomes. \nMonitor progress and proactively address schedule, scope, resource, and delivery challenges. \nCoordinate requirements, testing, training, deployment, go-live, and transition-to-support activities. \nApplication Support and Continuous Improvement\nProvide functional and technical support for assigned enterprise applications. \nCoordinate investigation and resolution of incidents, problems, and service requests with internal teams and vendors. \nSupport application releases, upgrades, testing, deployments, and lifecycle activities. \nMaintain application documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge of materials. \nIdentify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, user experience, and support processes. \nBalance application supports priorities with project delivery commitments. \nStakeholder Engagement\nBuild strong working relationships with business users and key stakeholders. \nServe as the primary point of coordination for assigned projects and initiatives. \nProvide clear, concise project updates to stakeholders and leadership. \nFacilitate project meetings, workshops, governance reviews, decisions, and follow-up actions. \nRisk, Governance & Change\nIdentify, assess, track, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and changes. \nDevelop mitigation plans and escalate significant risks or blockers as required. \nEnsure projects comply with applicable cybersecurity, privacy, technology governance, and change-management requirements. \nSupport business readiness, communications, training, and user adoption. \nAbout You\nExperience\n3-5+ years of experience in IT, business applications, technology project delivery, or related field. \nDemonstrated experience leading or coordinating application implementations, upgrades, enhancements, or technology projects. \nFamiliarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies. \nExperience working with cross-functional business and technical teams, and external vendors. \nKnowledge of enterprise business applications and integrated technology environments. \nUnderstanding IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and support processes. \nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. \nExperience with incident management, service requests, and application support activities. \nExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. \nStrong organizational, planning, and time-management abilities. \nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a global team environment. \nCommitment to safety, continuous improvement, and customer service excellence. \nFrench and/or Portuguese language skills are considered an asset. \nEducation\nCollege diploma or university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or related discipline. \nEquivalent education and relevant experience may be considered. \nPreferred Qualifications\nPMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification. \nExperience supporting applications used in Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Health & Safety, or Operational business functions. \nExperience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, or Smartsheet. \nFamiliarity with project management and Agile delivery methodologies. \nExperience working within mining, industrial,
