Network Infrastructure\nImplement, configure, maintain, and support LAN and wireless network environments.\n\nManage and support Cisco routers, switches, and related network infrastructure.\n\nManage and support HPE Aruba wireless and network infrastructure.\n\nConfigure and maintain FortiGate firewalls and related security infrastructure.\n\nSupport network connectivity between production sites, offices, servers, and other infrastructure.\n\nSupport VLAN, routing, switching, and network segmentation activities.\n\nPerform network capacity and performance assessments when required.\n\n2. Network Monitoring and Operations\nMonitor network infrastructure performance, availability, bandwidth utilization, latency, packet loss, and connectivity using Valeo monitoring tools such as MoVI.\n\nProactively investigate monitoring alerts and network abnormalities.\n\nConduct regular network health checks .\n\nIdentify potential network issues before they impact business operations.\n\nMaintain high network availability and reliability.\n\nPerform daily network operational tasks and ensure timely resolution of issues.\n\n3. Incident Management and Troubleshooting\nRespond to network incidents according to defined SLA and operational procedures.\n\nTroubleshoot network connectivity, routing, switching, wireless, firewall, VPN, and performance-related issues.\n\nAnalyze network logs, monitoring information, packet captures, and device diagnostic information.\n\nPerform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major or recurring network incidents.\n\nImplement corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.\n\nEscalate complex technical issues to internal teams or network equipment vendors when required.\n\n4. Firewall and Network Security\nConfigure and maintain FortiGate firewall policies, NAT, routing, and security settings.\n\nManage and support IPSec and SSL VPN connectivity.\n\nSupport network segmentation and access-control requirements.\n\nReview firewall rules and identify unnecessary, obsolete, or overly permissive rules.\n\nSupport security-related investigations and remediation activities.\n\nWork with cybersecurity teams to address network security vulnerabilities and incidents.\n\nSupport endpoint/network security technologies such as Windows Defender and Trellix where required.\n\n5. Change Management\nPlan and execute network changes in accordance with Valeo Change Management procedures.\n\nPrepare implementation plans, test plans, validation procedures, and rollback plans.\n\nPerform network changes during approved maintenance windows.\n\nConduct post-change validation and confirm service availability.\n\nEnsure all network changes are properly documented.\n\nMinimize business and production impact during network maintenance activities.\n\n6. Documentation\nMaintain up-to-date network diagrams and infrastructure documentation.\n\nMaintain IP address, VLAN, subnet, routing, firewall, and network device information.\n\nDocument network configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting procedures.\n\nUpdate documentation following network changes, upgrades, or infrastructure modifications.\n\nCreate and maintain Knowledge Base articles and operational guides.\n\n7. Network Projects and Improvements\nSupport network infrastructure projects, migrations, upgrades, and expansions.\n\nParticipate in new network deployments and infrastructure improvements.\n\nSupport network architecture and design activities when required.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve network performance, reliability, security, and operational efficiency.\n\nSupport Valeo VIQCT asset improvement activities.\n\nEnsure network assets and configuration information are accurately maintained.\n\n8. Vendor and Service Provider Management\nCoordinate with Cisco, Fortinet, HPE Aruba, ISP, and other network equipment/service providers.\n\nOpen and manage technical support cases with vendors.\n\nProvide technical information, logs, configuration data, and troubleshooting results to vendors.\n\nFollow up on hardware replacement, RMA, firmware issues, and technical escalations.\n\nCoordinate with Cisco, Fortinet, HPE Aruba, ISPs, and other network equipment/service providers.\n\n9.OJT and Knowledge Transfer\nReceive and provide OJT and knowledge transfer related to Valeo network infrastructure.\n\nComplete initial knowledge transfer within a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 4 weeks.\n\nParticipate in periodic OJT and knowledge-sharing sessions.\n\nMaintain and update OJT and operational documentation.\n\nParticipate in weekly follow-up meetings during the initial transition period, when required.\n\nDemonstrate the ability to independently perform daily network operations and troubleshooting after the OJT period.\n\nRequired Skills and Experience\nMinimum 3 years of hands-on network engineering experience.\n\nStrong understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals.\n\nPractical experience in enterprise network environments.\n\nHands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches.\n\nExperience with HPE Aruba wireless/network infrastructure is preferred.\n\nHands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls.\n\nExperience with VPN technologies, including IPSec and SSL VPN.\n\nGood understanding of VLAN, STP, routing, and switching.\n\nWorking knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.\n\nExperience in network troubleshooting and incident response.\n\nExperience with network monitoring tools.\n\nAbility to analyze network logs and perform packet-level troubleshooting.\n\nExperience with tools such as Wireshark is preferred.\n\nUnderstanding of network security principles and access control.\n\nExperience working with Change Management / ITSM processes.\n\nGood communication and documentation skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in an enterprise or manufacturing environment.\n\nExperience supporting production networks.\n\nCisco certification such as CCNA or CCNP.\n\nFortinet equivalent experience.\n\nHPE Aruba equivalent experience.\n\nITIL / ITSM knowledge or certification.\n\nExperience with network monitoring and management platforms.\n\nExperience with firewall policy review and network security assessments.\n\nExperience with network automation or scripting is a plus.\n\nValeo Support / Onboarding\nInitial OJT and knowledge transfer: Minimum 2 weeks, maximum 4 weeks.\n\nPeriodic OJT and knowledge-sharing sessions.\n\nWeekly follow-up during the initial transition period, if required.\n\nReview and maintain network documentation during the onboarding period.\n\nGradually transition responsibilities from supervised operation to independent network management.\n\nKey Performance Expectations\nThe Network Engineer is expected to:\nMaintain stable and reliable network operations.\n\nRespond to network incidents within the agreed SLA.\n\nMinimize network downtime and business impact.\n\nComplete planned network changes and upgrades successfully.\n\nPerform effective Root Cause Analysis for
