The Test & Validation Intern will be assist engineers for Product Validation activities from request for quotation (RFQ) phase to final customer acceptance.\nSeeking a current student or recent graduate to start as soon as possible and work on a year-round basis.\nResponsibilities Also Include:\nCommunication / Network\nTest service request process, review and analysis.\nAnalyze customer specification with the product Project Team Member and quality PTM, challenge the tests requested and define the final validation plan to build the final offer\nDefine the need of specific tools or bench (characterization, reliability...) \nPlanning\nAssist with writing the detailed validation plan and test specification including both customer validation and also Valeo requirements (to achieve quality targets)\nSchedule the validation plan and assist the test with the support of laboratory resources (technicians…)\nAssist with customer and project team for environmental validations (methods and results) wherever the tests are located (Troy, Shenzen, Bietigheim, Prague, external lab…)\nWork in parallel with the project team; contribute to correct the design in order to meet product performance.\nTest Execution:\nFamiliarize with working system using bench equipment to enable view on delivered product and to understand customer problems\nWork with Methods & Tools (M&T) team to develop test environment solutions to enable Design & Process Validation (DV/PV)\nGovernance of Test setup and verification of test platforms supported by lab operations technical support \nGovernance of Test setup of Test script development (using NI LabVIEW / TestStand) supported by both M&T and lab operations technical support \nEncourage a Safety focus dedicated to maintaining high quality standards.\nEfficiency\nContribute to the improvements of the laboratory’s tools such as : instruction sheet, development and validation of test environment processes automation \nMinimise test cycle times\nProvide work instructions to test houses to enable efficient transfer of test equipment\nSupport Project team with analysis of failure modes\nWhat You Should Have:\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree inComputer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field OR a recent graduate. \nExperience in National Instruments (LabVIEW/or TestStand) is a plus.\nProficient in programing languages (Java, Python) is a plus.\nJoin us!\nThanks to its strategy focused on innovation, Valeo aims at reducing CO² emissions and developing intuitive driving to propose greener, safer, and smarter mobility.
