Join us and take part in the autonomous and connected car revolution at Valeo!\nAs a Purchasing Intern, you will contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier relationship management, and cost optimization efforts within a dynamic automotive environment.\nSeeking an intern who is available to start as soon as possible and work year-round on a part-time basis throughout the school year pending class schedule, then full-time throughout the summer.\nResponsibilities Also Include:\nAssist in the selection, qualification, and evaluation of suppliers for various commodities and services.\nSupport the negotiation of contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure competitive advantage and cost efficiency.\nPrepare and analyze RFQs (Request for Quotation) and RFPs (Request for Proposal).\nMonitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed.\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders (R&D, Quality, Production, Logistics) to define purchasing needs and optimize supply chain processes.\nMaintain and update purchasing databases and systems with accurate supplier and pricing information.\nParticipate in cost reduction projects and value analysis initiatives.\nSupport the implementation of purchasing strategies and policies.\nGenerate reports and provide analysis on purchasing activities, market trends, and supplier performance.\nWhat You Should Have:\nYou are currently a student enrolled in courses working toward a Business Degree or related field.\nJoin us!\nThanks to its strategy focused on innovation, Valeo aims at reducing CO² emissions and developing intuitive driving to propose greener, safer, and smarter mobility.
