We are leader on our businesses, and recognized as one of the largest global innovative companies.\nContributes to BG/PG/PL Open Innovation activities:\nBe actor in the projects selection process: ensure technological watch, detect future key technologies and perform preliminary assessment of identified opportunities for innovation\n\nDeal with partners: Identifies and selects the best partners (start-ups, academics, laboratories, technology providers), sets collaborative development schema jointly with legal and IP department an provides support to technology scouting activities\n\nAssess the technology level of the partners, start-ups.\n\nManages and supports Collaborative activities/projects:\nManages various R&I projects(P3):\nDefines the project’s objectives and targets\n\nAnimates creativity meetings to provide solutions to the identified problems and needs.\n\nContributes to users groups to identify impact of user expectations on the R&I strategy\n\nDefines the best tools/process/method to achieve efficiently the objectives (creativity tools, mock-ups, design thinking cycles, rapid prototyping, proof of concept, lab car…)\n\nAssesses the requirements (resources, competences, …)\n\nValidates project’s milestones with team members\n\nValidates the achievement of the project’s objectives (deliverables) & Capitalize the projects outcomes\n\nEnsures Intellectual Property (IP) protection of the innovative ideas (protection and mining)\n\nOrganizes and ensures smooth and effective transfer to business when decided (to P3 or P2)\n\nLeads Project Team\nAllocate “work-packages” among team members\n\nFunctionally manages project team members: internal or external\n\nEncourages initiatives and motivates risk taking, and failures acceptance when needed\n\nDevelops Customers Intimacy regarding innovation activities\nCommunicates to external and internal (BG/PG/PL) customers\n\nCollects customer voices from their innovation teams to understand future needs and to feed the innovation pipeline, and also by participating in external events (conferences, seminars, exhibits…)\n\nInvolve the PL and the Platform which will transform the R&I activities to R&D\n\nPromotes Valeo Values, Cultures and Standards (Product, Methodology and Tools)\nEnsure Open innovation activities are performed in compliance with standard and activities defined in Research and Innovations Procedures\n\nNB.: Adv Dev. and R&I missions may be combined.
