We are leader on our businesses, and recognized as one of the largest global innovative companies.\nAbout the role\nAs a System Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for validation activities within automotive ADAS projects, with a strong focus on vehicle testing, Car Modification and NCAP-related activities.\nYou will work with test vehicles, prepare and modify vehicles for specific validation activities, install and configure measurement and test equipment, and perform system and vehicle-level testing. You will also work with GPS/GNSS-based positioning and data acquisition systems used during vehicle and NCAP testing.\nThe role combines automotive engineering, hands-on vehicle work, electronics, measurement technology and data analysis. You will collaborate with project teams and other engineering disciplines to ensure that validation activities are performed according to project requirements, Valeo standards and applicable testing procedures.\nThe position is particularly suitable for an engineer who enjoys working directly with vehicles and technology and who has an interest in building or experimenting with their own electronic projects.\nMain Responsibilities\nPlan, prepare and execute system validation and verification activities for automotive ADAS projects.\nPrepare and modify test vehicles for specific validation and NCAP test activities.\nInstall, configure and verify test equipment, sensors, GPS/GNSS systems and measurement systems on test vehicles.\nSupport Car Modification activities, including preparation of vehicles, installation of additional equipment and adaptation of vehicles for specific testing requirements.\nPerform vehicle and system tests according to defined specifications, test procedures and NCAP requirements.\nWork with GPS/GNSS positioning and data acquisition for vehicle testing and test result analysis.\nPrepare and verify test setups before testing, including sensors, measurement equipment, communication interfaces and power supplies.\nAnalyze test data and identify deviations, technical issues and potential root causes.\nPrepare test reports, validation documentation and technical presentations.\nSupport Euro NCAP and other regulatory or consumer test activities where applicable.\nCooperate with project teams, customers and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues.\nSupport continuous improvement of vehicle preparation, testing and validation processes.\nContribute to the development and use of digital tools for test automation, data collection and analysis.\nRequired Knowledge and Skills\nTechnical Skills\nExperience in automotive testing, validation, verification or vehicle development.\nInterest or experience in ADAS and vehicle-level testing.\nExperience with test vehicles, vehicle modifications or installation of test equipment is an advantage.\nBasic knowledge of GPS/GNSS technology, positioning and vehicle data acquisition.\nAbility to understand technical requirements and convert them into practical test scenarios and setups.\nExperience with measurement equipment, sensors, data acquisition or similar systems is an advantage.\nAbility to troubleshoot electrical, electronic and technical problems on vehicles.\nExperience with CAN/CAN-FD, automotive communication or diagnostic systems is an advantage.\nAbility to analyze test data and prepare technical reports.\nBasic programming or scripting skills (e.g. Python) are an advantage.\nInterest in electronics and hands-on technical projects, including building or experimenting with own electronic devices, is highly appreciated.\nPersonal Skills\nHands-on and practical approach to engineering.\nAnalytical and systematic approach to problem solving.\nInterest in understanding how things work and willingness to investigate technical problems.\nGood communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team.\nResponsible and structured approach to assigned tasks.\nProactive attitude and willingness to identify and solve problems.\nFlexibility and willingness to work both in the workshop and in the field.\nCuriosity and enthusiasm for automotive technology, electronics and new technical solutions.\nWillingness to learn new technologies, tools and validation methods.\nQualifications\nTechnical university degree or equivalent education in automotive engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, computer science or a related field.\nPrevious experience in automotive testing, validation or engineering is an advantage.\nExperience with ADAS, vehicle testing, Car Modification or NCAP testing is an advantage.\nKnowledge of GPS/GNSS systems is an advantage.\nDriving licence -
