To learn more about Valeris, please visit www.valeris.com.\nThe Pharmacy Technician plays a vital role in the pharmacy operations team, contributing to the safe, accurate, and timely dispensing of medications. This position requires a high degree of professionalism, diligence, and a commitment to quality care. Technicians will engage directly with patients, providers, and prescribers to facilitate prescription processing and ensure regulatory compliance. The technician must be comfortable operating within a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a proactive approach to resolving issues and maintaining high service standards.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPrescription & Patient Support\nAccurately enter and process new and refill prescriptions in pharmacy management systems.\nContact patients and prescribers to collect missing information.\nRespond to inbound calls and make outbound calls to support patient care and pharmacy services.\nReport drug adverse events to internal systems and client portals.\nDemonstrate discretion in handling protected health information (PHI) and maintain patient confidentiality.\nSystems & Documentation\nNavigate pharmacy systems to confirm, document, and reconcile orders.\nEnsure compliance with internal SOPs, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.\nMaintain accurate records and documentation to support audits and operational reviews.\nTeam Collaboration\nWork cross-functionally with pharmacists, technicians, hub personnel, and fulfillment teams.\nParticipate in training, quality checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nAssist in onboarding and mentoring new technicians as appropriate.\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent (required).\nUnrestricted Pharmacy Technician Trainee License - Arizona Location (required).\nNational Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred).\n1+ years of pharmacy experience (retail, hospital, or specialty preferred).\nMust pass background check and drug screening prior to employment.\nMust be able to work on-site 2-5 days per week, depending on operational needs and job responsibilities.\nPhysical Demands & Work Environment\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time, use hands to type, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Prefer candidates who can type at least 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy.\n\nAlthough very minimal, flexibility to travel as needed is preferred.\n\nThis job operates in a professional office environment.
