He/she is responsible for keeping the exterior and common areas of the property clean on a daily basis. The Porter/Groundskeeper also helps with cleaning make-ready units and assisting the maintenance team as needed. With career development opportunities, a collaborative culture, and a commitment to innovation, we empower our employees to thrive.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nEnsure that the appearance of all property, including the community office, model, apartment, amenity areas, etc., meets or exceeds Valiant Residential’s standards at all times. \nAssist the team by offering support for community functions.\nPick up litter daily.\nSweep/blow breezeways.\nClean areas around dumpsters.\nClean out vacant apartments.\nClean mail room, pool areas, laundry room, etc.\nAssist with pool maintenance.\nWater plants as needed.\nMaintain the sprinkler system.\nUse insecticides, fertilizers, and herbicides as needed.\nMow and trim lawns.\nReseed lawns and replant, if necessary.\nProperly stake trees.\nCorrectly prune trees and shrubs.\nWeed lawns and all other planted areas.\nMake drainage corrections.\nReplace breezeway light bulbs.\nAssist with distributing notices.\nAssist in make-readies and other maintenance work as directed\nRequirements\nMinimum one year of full-time related experience. \nMust possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively interact with team members, residents, vendors, and other stakeholders.
