If you are interested in learning more about Valiant and this opportunity, we invite you to apply now!\nLocation: Fort Belvoir, VA\nRequired Experience:\nExperience with Tenable SecurityCenter/Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) strongly preferred.\nKnowledge of network scanning principles and the potential impacts of intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) to scan data accuracy.\nKnowledge in Evaluator Scoring Metrics (ESM) criteria.\nExperience working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven, and team-oriented environment.\nAbility to communicate complex technical and programmatic information, often in the form of verbal and visual operational updates, situation reports and briefings.\nRequired Certifications: Security+ Continuing Education (CE) [CompTIA] and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) [EC-Council]\nRequired Security Clearance: DoW Secret Clearance (Only Candidates who possess a Secret or higher level DoW Clearance will be considered)\nBachelor’s Degree: Area(s) of Study: Cybersecurity\nResponsibilities:\nConduct continuous network monitoring and analysis using various defensive cyber tools\nEnumerate vulnerable terrain in support of Tier 1 reporting.\nProvide end customers with vulnerability assessment reports with tailored, prioritized mitigation actions.\nTrack vulnerability management efforts from identification, to notification, to remediation.\nInvestigate and report potential false positives from continuous monitoring tools.\nAnalyze risk score trends and ascertain potential root causes to risk score anomalies.\nTrack compliance trends and provide prioritized list of findings to end customers.\nAssist subscribers in the deployment of Nessus agents.\nEnumerate and report instances of specific platforms, installed software, and services (including unauthorized instances).\nValidate network scanning quality and compliance IAW applicable DCDC TASKORDS.\nTroubleshoot credentialed vulnerability scanning failures and provide remediation guidance.\nResearch emerging threats and vulnerabilities to aid in the identification of network security risks.\nAssist in incident response activities by querying existing data and sharing matching indicators of compromise (IOC).\nConduct user activity monitoring (UAM) in support of the Insider Threat Program.\nProvide prompt, quality customer service with excellent written and oral communication skills.\nProvide direct support to the Protect Team Lead.\nAbout Valiant Solutions\nValiant Solutions is a security-focused IT solutions provider with public clients nationwide.
