If you are interested in learning more about Valiant and this opportunity, we invite you to apply now!\nLocation: 100% onsite, Springfield, VA\nRequired Clearance: Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI polygraph\nRequired Education and Certifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Related work experience considered instead of degree).\nCertified DoD 8140.01 and 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical Officer (IAT) Level III and Information Assurance System Architecture and Engineering Specialist (IASAE) Level II.\nCSSP-Analyst certification within 120 days of start date.\n\nRequired Skills:\n6+ years of related technical experience in network/cybersecurity engineering and experience with large-scale enterprise/global networks in a highly diverse environment with an emphasis on DoD capabilities.\nDeep expertise in one of the following areas and working knowledge of one or more of the following: Network Detection and Response (NDR), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs), Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), F5 platforms, email/web security gateways.\nStrong technical background with a thorough understanding of cloud infrastructure, security principles, compute, storage, and transport.\nExpertise in Windows and Linux server operating systems.\nExcellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to develop analytical documents and present oral presentations to senior/executive management.\nAbility to work independently with little direction and guidance.\nDemonstrated experience modernizing complex enterprise cybersecurity systems.\nResponsibilities:\nBuilds, deploys, configures, and maintains on-premises and cloud-based cybersecurity infrastructure and applications running on Windows and Linux operating systems.\nEngineers and implements cybersecurity solutions leveraging cloud services such as EC2, EBS, ELB, S3, and RDS. This range reflects Valiant Solutions' good-faith estimate of the base salary reasonably expected for this position upon hire, at the time of posting. The range has been established based on the scope of the role, market rates, and internal equity. Where a candidate falls within the posted range will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, experience, qualifications, achievements, education, geographic location, applicable security clearance requirements, additional corporate responsibilities, and other legitimate, non-discriminatory business considerations.
