This role combines daily systems administration, production troubleshooting, and long-term engineering projects. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, proactive problem-solver who communicates effectively, delivers excellent internal customer service, takes ownership of their systems, and remains calm under pressure. This is a growth-focused opportunity for someone eager to expand their technical skills and responsibilities as the organization scales.\n RESPONSIBILITIES: \n-Understand company Mission, Vision, and Values and be an ambassador of MVV. \n-Manage file servers, storage, virtualization, and Azure cloud infrastructure, including Hyper-V failover clusters, enterprise storage, and SQL Server environments. \n-Maintain hybrid identity infrastructure (Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID/Intune) and administer the Microsoft 365/Azure ecosystem, including user accounts and access management. \n-Support containerized workloads and collaborate with the DevOps team on Azure DevOps infrastructure (repos, pipelines, build agents) \n-Manage backups, patching, disaster recovery, and enterprise network infrastructure; monitor systems and proactively resolve issues \n-Provide Tier 2/3 technical support, and plan/implement new systems and solutions as needed across the company \n REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: \n-Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field \n-5-10 years of experience in systems engineering, systems administration, or a combined IT infrastructure role \n-Hands-on experience with Hyper-V and Hyper-V failover clustering \n-Experience with enterprise storage systems (SAN/NAS) \n-Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services \n-Experience with SQL Server databases and server administration \n-Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID/Intune, ideally in a hybrid identity environment \n-Experience with Microsoft admin centers and the broader Microsoft 365/Azure ecosystem \n-Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) \n-Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux server administration \n-Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Intune Policy management \n-Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs) \n-Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar) \n-Experience with enterprise backup systems and disaster recovery solutions \n-Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently under pressure \n-Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders\n PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: \n-Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Azure Administrator Associate; CompTIA Network+/Linux+/AutoOps+, or similar; Cisco Certified Network Associate or above \n-Experience with Azure DevOps (repos, pipelines, boards) \n-Experience with enterprise networking equipment and modern network administration platforms \n-Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible) \n-Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and IT service management tools \n-Experience supporting a remote or distributed workforce across multiple time zones \n-Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., gaming, finance, healthcare) a plus \n-Prior experience in a small-to-mid-sized IT team wearing multiple hats\n WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\n-May require occasional after-hours or on-call support for system maintenance or emergencies\n-Some lifting of IT equipment (up to 50 lbs) may be required\nThis Job Description is to be used as a guide for accomplishing Company objectives.
