One week you might be running a scrappy GTM campaign; the next, building an internal automation or hosting an industry dinner.\nIf you thrive on variety, autonomy, and being dropped into complex challenges with little more than “make it happen,” you’ll fit right in.\nCareer Path\nFor the right person, this role can evolve into Head of Ops, Head of Growth, or Chief of Staff.\nAbout Valid\nFounded in July 2023, Valid is a seed-stage company operating at Series A scale, headquartered in San Francisco.\nIn under two years, we’ve grown from 5 people to 40+, deployed over $1B in ad spend, and built a full-stack, tech-enabled advertising company serving enterprise consumer customers.\nWe’re well-capitalized and backed by top Silicon Valley investors including Canaan, Neo, and others.\nThe Role\nThis is a founder’s right-hand position - part business operations, part growth, part special projects. You’ll touch almost every part of the company:\nGrowth & GTM (40%)\nApp Marketing content (LinkedIn, email, Twitter, etc)\n\nAd Campaigns & outbound (LinkedIn, email)\n\nHosting events\n\nOperations & Automation (30%)\nProduct-Agency integration/collaboration\n\nIdentify bottlenecks across the company, design processes, and install tools to fix them.\n\nBuild internal automations (Zapier, n8n, Airtable, etc.) to scale our workflows.\n\nApplied AI (15%)\nStay up to date on the latest in AI, push the company to lean into the latest tooling wherever possible.\n\nRecruiting & Partnerships (15%)\nSource and close high-impact hires.\n\nDevelop partnerships that open new growth channels.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nSignificant exposure to startups and early stage companies.\n\nYou’ll be talking to and selling directly to early-stage founders.\n\nTrack record of independently taking projects from 0 → 1\n\nComfortable with automation tools and “vibe coding” platforms.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nVC associate / Analyst - Understand markets, GTM, and startup pace\n\nFormer founder or early stage employee\n\nExperience planning and running events or community initiatives.\n\nComfort with light technical tasks (APIs, no-code tools).\n\nYou’re Probably a Good Fit If:\nYou thrive in high-ambiguity, high-autonomy environments.\n\nYou get energy from learning new skills quickly and applying them immediately.\n\nYou’re equally comfortable talking to a founder, an engineer, and a customer in the same day.\n\nThe idea of organized chaos resonates with your working style:\n\nOrganized: Clear processes, efficient workflows, and effective communication\n\nChaos: A willingness to iterate quickly and embrace change to stay ahead\n\nWhat You’ll Be Getting\nWork directly with the founder in a high-leverage role touching every part of the business.\n\nMaster distribution Valid is a company effectively selling distribution.
