We are building the dream team, and we want you on it.\nAbout the Role\nValinor Dispatch builds modular charging infrastructure that keeps unmanned systems (drones, ground robots, surface vessels) powered and operating autonomously in the field. We're seeking an Electrical Engineer specializing in power electronics and PCB design to own power flow for our AC/DC systems in low-voltage applications. This is a hands-on, on-site role for someone who can take a design from prototype and proof of concept through production-ready manufacturing, working directly with our engineering team to build rugged, high-reliability power systems for austere environments. You'll own the board-level design for DC/DC conversion, protection, and health monitoring, and set the standard for power electronics quality as the team scales.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn power flow for AC/DC systems and subsystems in low-voltage applications (\n\nDesign production-level PCBs for DC/DC converters, protection systems, and health monitoring built to survive austere environments\n\nTake designs from prototype and proof of concept through to production-ready manufacturing\n\nDesign to EMI/EMC requirements for high-current, high-power systems (1kW to 50kW)\n\nPartner with mechanical, embedded, and systems engineers to integrate power electronics into complete autonomous charging platforms\n\nBuild and validate prototypes, then drive the handoff to volume production\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n3+ years in power electronics or electrical engineering with hands-on, production-level PCB design\n\nProven track record designing DC/DC converters, protection systems, and health monitoring from schematic through manufacturing\n\nFamiliarity with EMI/EMC requirements for high-current, high-power designs (1kW to 50kW)\n\nDemonstrated ability to prototype, prove out a concept, and push it to production-ready manufacturing\n\nExperience with low-voltage AC/DC systems (\n\nExperience designing for austere or rugged environments (thermal, shock and vibration, ingress protection) strongly preferred\n\nBackground in industrial, automotive, oil and gas, rail, or defense power systems preferred\n\nProficiency with PCB design and simulation tools such as Altium Designer, LTSpice, or similar a plus\n\nExperience with wide-bandgap devices (SiC/GaN) and resonant topologies (LLC, dual active bridge) a plus\n\nWhat Valinor Offers\nCompetitive salary, equity packages, and benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance - fully covered for employees, 401(k), among others.\n\nUnlimited PTO and two-week company holiday at the end of every calendar year.\n\nWe are a pro-mental health and pro-family company - we actually encourage employees to spend time with themselves and their families.
