Assistant Store Manager

Position Summary

Lead the Store by representingtheBrand and driving its initiatives whilst aligning to Valiram procedures and quest for excellence.

Oversee all aspects of store performance through sales management, operational excellenceand people leadership, as well as store visual aesthetics and environment.

Maintain inventory integrity - minimise stock losses & ensure monthly (& daily if necessary) stock counts.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the main sales initiatives of the Brand
• Daily, weeklyand monthly action plan to deliver the expected sales results
• Analyse sales figures, monitorexpenses to optimizesales and profits
• Optimizethe duty rosters to guarantee proper floor coverage, maximise sales whilst minimizing payroll expenses.
• Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures and to ensure the process is in compliance withcompany SOPs.
• Ensure proper care of stocks, fixturesand furniture within the store, and kept neatly and tidy at all times.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of total retail experience with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Diploma/Bachelor’sdegree (desirable) in related field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to communicate, influence and negotiate effectively with all levels of leadership.
• Proven organizational skills - able to manage multiple demands with competing priorities and allocatetime effectively.
• Ability to challenge and influence operational processes.
