This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of our SaaS platforms by designing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and collaborating closely with developers and product managers to deliver best-in-class solutions for institutional investors. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases for web-based SaaS applications.\nValidate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes to ensure quality and consistency across releases.\nCollaborate with developers and product managers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.\nOwn end-to-end QA for an assigned product workstream, acting as the primary quality owner.\nPerform regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.\nTrack, document, and communicate software defects in Jira ensuring timely resolutions.\nContinuously enhance test automation frameworks in Mabl and identify areas for process improvements.\nEnsure compliance with stated industry standards and best practices.\nContribute to release readiness, deployment validation, and post-production monitoring.\nQualifications\n3+ years of professional QA or software testing experience, preferably within FinTech or financial services.\nStrong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.\nHands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Mabl, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).\nExperience with general Agile methodology (daily stand-up meeting, sprints, retrospectives, etc.).\nFamiliarity with APIs and tools for API testing (e.g., Swagger, Postman, RestAssured).\nExperience testing SaaS platforms, preferably involving structured finance products (CLOs, ABS, CMBS, MBS, etc.).\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nAbility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.\nComfortable owning full QA responsibility for a product workstream, including proactively raising questions to product and development when requirements or behavior are unclear.\nPreferred proficiency in SQL to validate data-driven test cases.\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited school.\nWhat We Offer\nBase salary range for this role is $110,000 to $130,000. Valitana offers a competitive compensation package including base salary and an annual performance bonus.
